Who we are

Oxford & London‑trained.
Internationally accredited.

Oxcardio was founded to address a clear gap: patients in emerging healthcare markets deserve the same standard of cardiac imaging interpretation as those in the world's leading academic centres.

Closing the cardiac imaging gap

Access to Level 3 cardiac imaging specialists — clinicians trained to the highest international standard in CMR and cardiac CT — remains extremely limited across much of Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. This means patients with complex heart disease routinely wait weeks for expert interpretation, or go without it entirely.

Oxcardio was built to change that. By delivering subspecialist reporting remotely and securely, we allow hospitals and imaging centres in these regions to offer their patients a diagnostic standard previously available only at major academic centres in North America or Europe.

We are not a volume reporting service. We are a small, specialist practice focused on quality, clinical relevance, and direct relationships with the institutions we serve.

Global cardiac imaging reach

Triple-accredited specialists

Our clinicians are accredited by all three major international bodies for cardiovascular imaging — a level of credential held by very few specialists globally.

SCMR Accredited

The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) is the leading global body for CMR. SCMR accreditation is the international gold standard for CMR competence, requiring formal examination and demonstration of high-volume clinical experience at the highest level.

EACVI Accredited

The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) accreditation programme certifies specialist competence in cardiovascular imaging. EACVI CMR accreditation is one of the most rigorous in the field, requiring detailed case log evidence and formal assessment.

BSCI Accredited

The British Society of Cardiac Imaging (BSCI) accreditation pathway ensures competence in cardiac CT at Level 3 — the highest competency level, reserved for those who supervise training programmes and act as independent experts. Our specialists hold this distinction alongside their CMR credentials.

Best-in-class training — Oxford & London

Our specialists completed advanced subspecialty training at the UK's foremost academic cardiac imaging programmes — the same centres that set international standards in CMR and cardiac CT.

Consultant Cardiologist

Cardiac Imaging Specialist

Subspecialist in cardiovascular magnetic resonance and cardiac CT, trained across leading UK academic centres including Oxford and London. Completed advanced fellowship-level training reporting complex CMR and CT cases — cardiomyopathies, viability, structural heart disease and congenital conditions — in high-volume tertiary programmes.

Experienced in establishing tele-reporting pipelines for international institutions and managing full technical integration from DICOM routing to final report delivery.

World-Class UK Training

Our background

The United Kingdom hosts several of the world's foremost cardiac imaging centres — including programmes in Oxford and London — where CMR and cardiac CT specialists are trained to Level 3, the highest international competency tier. These centres manage the full spectrum of complex cardiac pathology and are among the few globally accredited to train reporting cardiologists to subspecialist standard.

Training across these environments, combined with triple international accreditation, means the diagnostic standard we deliver is equivalent to a referral to a leading UK or European academic centre — at a fraction of the cost and delay.

Quality over volume

We are not a teleradiology factory. Oxcardio operates as a small specialist practice — each report is personally reviewed by a Level 3 accredited cardiologist, not delegated down a reporting chain.

This means reports that are clinically nuanced, clearly written, and backed by direct access to the reporting clinician if questions arise. We work with a limited number of partner institutions to ensure we can maintain this standard for every case we report.

If you are looking for the cheapest option, we are probably not the right fit. If you want your patients to receive the same diagnostic quality as those at a leading UK academic centre, we are.
